We celebrated our 501 (c) (3) status on August 17, 2013, at Boom Island in Minneapolis.  Our ribbon cutting event was very well attended and we enjoyed our time together.  Here are images of the event on our Photo Gallery page!  Or please find us on Flickr.

Bridget thanked all The YLF volunteers for their hard work which made the organization possible, and thanked special guests Sen. John Hoffman, Rep. Raymon Dehn, candidate for House Audrey Britton, Rep. Jim Abeler, Sen. Jim Carlson, and Brian Barnes for attending.  Policy makers who care about inclusivity and equal access are important advocates for needed change.

The YLF board member Aaron Westendorp reminded all of us about the value of volunteering.  Youth with disabilities can and should give to the community.
