The 42nd annual Tapemark Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament is this weekend, June 7-9th. Founded in 1972 by Bob Klas Sr. and Pat Cody Sr., the Tapemark Charity Pro-Am raises critical funds for non-profit agencies serving Minnesota children and adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. This wonderful golf event benefits several non-profits including The Arc Greater Twin Cities, The Arc Minnesota, Pro-Act and Dakota Communities, and has provided over $6.7 million dollars to these organizations in its 42 years, with The Arc Greater Twin Cities being the largest benefactor.
Volunteers are still needed for tomorrow thru Sunday. The event takes place at Southview Counry Club located at 239 Mendota Rd E in West St. Paul (just north of 494 and Robert St). Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know ASAP if you are willing to volunteer for any of the shifts below. Thanks!
FRIDAY JUNE 7TH
· 11:30am – 3:30pm – photographer to do headshots
· 3:30pm – 7:30pm – photographer to do headshots.
SATURDAY JUNE 8TH
· 3:30pm – 7:30pm – hole in one watcher
· 3:30pm – 7:30pm – concessions
· 1:30pm – 4:00pm – someone to copy scorecards
SUNDAY JUNE 9TH
· 7:00am – 10:00am – golf cart restocking (stock the concession stands with supplies and deliver volunteers to concession stands)
· 11:30am – 3:30pm – concessions
· 12:00pm – 3:00pm – leaderboards (sitting with a walkie talkie and putting scores on a sign)
· 1:30pm – 4:00pm – someone to copy scorecards
· 2:30pm – 7:30pm – scoreboard (must know golf scoring and rules)
· 3:00pm – 6:00pm – leaderboards (sitting with a walkie talkie and putting scores on a sign)
· 3:30pm – 7:30pm – concessions
· 4:00pm – 7:00pm – golf cart restocking (stock the concession stands with supplies and deliver supplies back to club house at end of tournament)
